Property Management Assistant/Lease Coordinator
Overview:
New South Properties of the Carolinas, a commercial real estate office located near downtown Charlotte, is seeking a Property Management Assistant/Lease Coordinator to join our Property Management Team, assisting with all areas of administration for our growing property management portfolio. Salary commensurate with experience + excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for meeting the needs of the Property Management Team. This individual will maintain a high level of professionalism in addressing and coordinating Property Management issues including response to, and resolution of, any Property Manager, Owner, and Tenant requests or concerns.
• Promote and foster positive relationships with tenants, owners, and staff
• Maintain Property files, making sure files are organized and up to date
• Assist in reviewing and compiling reports for property management team
• Assist in budget preparation and monthly reporting
• Assist with tenant notifications, collections, utility account setup
• Enter work orders and leases as needed in Yardi
• Track COI’s, sales reports, HVAC and pest management agreements
• Provide phone support, typing, filing, and distribution of correspondence
• Handle other duties as assigned
Education and experience:
• Four-year degree and/or 3+ years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Commercial Real Estate experience a strong plus
• Familiarity with commercial real estate documents
• Knowledge of Yardi or MRI software
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills; detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a sensitive environment
