We see you in Amwins blue. Amwins is looking for a Legal Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC office. The successful candidate will possess a vibrant personality, excellent communication skills, great motivation, capacity to understand concepts and drive to succeed in a team environment.

This position has a hybrid schedule – 3 days in the Piedmont Row office and 2 remote.

As a member of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career with the largest independent wholesale insurance broker in the U.S.

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and preferably 3-5 + years’ experience in a corporation or law firm setting (paralegal certificate preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of contract and corporate law, and understanding of corporate business operations
• Experience with corporate Secretary of State filings and maintenance of corporate records
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, PDF, and Outlook; basic Excel and DocuSign familiarity

Key areas of responsibility:
• Secretary of State corporate filings
• Subsidiary entity management
• Maintenance of corporate minute books
• Litigation support, including maintaining litigation hold logs, retrieving documents for subpoena requests, preparing responses (including redacting documents and bates labeling) pursuant to subpoena requests
• Initial review and revision of contracts
• Legal research, as needed
• Coordinate execution of legal documents
