Sales Support Specialist
Overview:
Award winning manufacturer of building products is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative support to their Inside Sales Department. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for account management, supporting outside sales team, and deliver high touch customer service.
A self-motivated individual with the personality to work within a team oriented environment will excel in this position. Advancement opportunity available. Great benefits including quarterly sales incentives, profit sharing, and 401K with match. Salary up to $60,000 DOE.
Principal responsibilities:
• Managing pricing changes weekly in Excel spreadsheet – update and distribute to sales team
• Updating product releases in Excel
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets to assess sales, identify inventory shortages, and track contract performance
• Managing order database
• Managing warranty claims data base
• Correcting Invoices
• Provide support with daily business initiatives to other departments
• Support sales and marketing initiatives
• Communicating with customers regarding order status
Strategic and technical competencies:
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional and competent manner, while maintaining composure under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize time and workload during peak periods
• Well-developed communication skills, both spoken and written, and the ability to grow customer relationships over the phone and email
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Proficient Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Oracle and/or Salesforce experience preferred but not mandatory
