BraveWorks is a 501c3 non-profit organization empowering women overcoming vulnerable situations including addiction, incarceration, human trafficking, abuse, and ethnic persecution. We empower the women we serve, whom we refer to as artisans, by connecting them to a supportive community. They come together to make beautiful jewelry and accessories that are then sold through our local shop and other channels. We also partner with similar organizations in developing countries, enabling us to empower women and families both locally and globally.

Overview:
The Operations/Platform Analyst is charged with managing the technology platforms as well as developing operational processes surrounding those platforms. This role will ensure all technology tools are maintained effectively, utilized appropriately by the staff to include ensuring data integrity. Additionally, the role will be responsible for leveraging the various technology tools in the preparation of reporting and data analytics in support of the organization’s goals.

Key qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years leveraging technology to include Shopify (or similar point of sale/inventory platform), Salesforce, MS 365
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities include:
Platform management
• Maintain BraveWork’s Shopify platform which operates as both the website as well as the inventory management tool, making updates as functional needs change
• Support the Salesforce platform in conjunction with the Salesforce Administrator, ensuring data integrity through interfaces and direct data input, as well as establishing ongoing data audits as necessary
• Assist the team in leveraging all aspects of the MS 365 platform to improve the efficiency of the organization
• Train the team on all platforms for maximum utilization
• Ensure interfaces between platforms are operating correctly
• Recommend other technology tools that will improve the efficiency of the organization
• Ensure all users are following strong data security protocols and recommend changes where needed
Metrics and reporting
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc sales reporting, analyzing trends and making recommendations based on those analytics
• Establish routine donor reporting and respond to requests for information from the Board Development Committee and Executive Director
• Determine other data reporting and analytics opportunities for the organization that will enable informed decision making
Other duties
• Greet customers and process point of sale transactions when coverage in the retail shop or at offsite pop-up events is needed
