Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and creative individual to manage our social media, assist with marketing and events including trade shows.

Essential duties:
Social media

• You will be responsible for creating content and managing social media posts and stories for our brands across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and You-Tube
• You will post regularly, announcing new products, engage with current customers and help reach new ones. You will be responsive to customers direct messages answering product questions and responding to comments
Marketing
• You will be required to write product press releases for our customers and manage customer email blasts
• You will assist in coordinating our trade advertising and will have a good knowledge of photoshop and be able to edit photos and videos
Events
• You will assist in organizing and attending trade and industry events. The role requires flexibility to sometimes travel during weekdays and occasional weekends and it’s a great opportunity to meet and spend time with customers
• This position will suit a passionate, creative, enthusiastic team-player and someone that wants to get involved in many aspects of our growing company
• This is a full-time position Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm. You will need to be able to travel (some weekdays and occasional weekends)

Responsibilities:
• Creating and overseeing all aspects of our social media presence
• Coordinating with our product photographers
• Managing database of product images for all brands
• Creating in-house video content
• Writing press releases and management of customer email blasts
• Liaising with customer marketing departments
• Liaising with editors at trade and consumer publications
• Overseeing content for advertising
• Responsible for organizing trade show and industry events

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years experience in managing social media and marketing
• Proficient in Hootsuite and Social Media platforms
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficient at MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Constant Contact experience preferred, but not required
• Must have excellent organizational skills, accuracy and be detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and be a team-player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
