Sally New River as Imagined by Alex Osborn Portrait Unveiling at The Charlotte Museum of History: This portrait is the latest addition to the Museum’s Path of Portraits project. The piece, created by contemporary Catawba artist Alex Osborn, depicts Sally New River, an elder from the Catawba Nation in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Noon to 1pm. Free. Details.

Bubbles & Bites at Link & Pin Huntersville: Tickets to this event include samples of bubbly, small bites plus cheese and charcuterie pairings. 2-4pm. $35. Details.
