Social Media Strategist
Overview:
We are looking for an influential person who can think outside the box when it comes to telling our brand’s story. This position is responsible for leading the strategic approach grounded in innovation to drive the companies’ proactive social channels, including managing content development, crafting social media strategies that drives lead generation, brand awareness, and audience engagement.
Our Social Media Strategist will leverage organic social media to help build brand awareness and support the company’s social strategy and growth goals. Day-to-day you will be actively assisting with content planning, interacting with customers, creating, and posting engaging & compelling content for all our social media channels.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies to translate social interactions that drive increased awareness, positive brand reputation/perception, traffic, and sales
• Monitor, identify, and engage with customer comments and questions both during and after business hours and on weekends
• Grow social media visibility and engagement across all platforms with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms, ensuring brand voice is consistent with our brand identity on daily posts, and the team stays current on trends
• Partner with leaders in all departments to support business needs through social media platforms
• Develop content calendar strategy and planning for the brand across all social media platforms-Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, and emerging channels
• Lead the development of organization-wide social media standards, policies, and rules of engagement on social platforms and drive adoption and utilization by customer-facing employees
• Support all aspects of community management including fan engagement, influencers, and coordination with company ambassadors
• Analyze social media performance and KPIs using social media tools and provide well-defined content and optimization strategies
• Know the latest trends, and continually seek out new ways to drive communication and engagement by optimizing website content, tags, keywords, blogs, and various web marketing avenues based on data to increase SEO
• Daily trend research and community listening, monitoring, and engagement to increase brand awareness
• Capture new audiences, make friends/followers/fans, create groups, create social media pages, distribute new video and campaign media of marketing activities for placement on blogs, social networking sites, and community-driven sites and platforms
• Keep up with industry trends to identify growth opportunities and potential partners Keep up to date on new and emerging trends, tools, platforms, and practices in social media
• Educate internal partner’s role, performance, and trends of social media
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3+ years of experience in social media/content management/reputation management
• Experience with a strong understanding of how to bring social media campaigns to life, storytelling, and creating followers that promote brand awareness and engagement
• Exceptional collaboration skills – you enjoy working in a team setting
• The ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and foster a team environment
• Experience in community management with a strong understanding of how to build content, follower growth, and engagement
• A creative mind with an ability to conceive innovative ideas and deliver creative content
