Overview:
We are a family-owned company based in Charlotte, NC with an immediate need for a Marketing expert. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative individual to enhance and manage our social media presence across all platforms. The role will be responsible for marketing for all our brands. You will also be responsible for organizing and attending trade and industry events.

This position will suit a creative, enthusiastic team player and someone that wants to get involved in many aspects of our growing company. This is a full-time position, Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with need for flexibility to travel during weekdays and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and overseeing all aspects of our social media presence
• Coordinating with our product photographers
• Managing database of product images
• Creating in-house video content
• Liaising with industry bloggers and influencers
• Liaising with customer marketing departments
• Writing press releases and management of customer email blasts
• Responsible for organizing trade show and industry events
• Liaising with editors at trade and consumer publications
• Overseeing content for advertising

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in managing social media and marketing
• Proficient in Hootsuite and Social Media platforms
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Be proficient at MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Constant Contact experience preferred, but not required
• Must have excellent organizational skills, accuracy and be detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
