Overview:
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an Executive Assistant for the Constituent Relations department. This is a full-time, permanent staff position.

Purpose of the position:
This position is the executive assistant and project coordinator for the Office of Constituent Relations and the newly created Office of Corporate Engagement. The primary purpose is to provide support to the Special Assistant to the Chancellor and Director of Corporate Engagement, manage multiple projects, special events, and high profile meetings and supervise graduate assistants and interns

Salary:

$53,837 – $56,597.

Qualifications:
Minimum

• Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities gained through six years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience
• Graduation of a two-year secretarial science or business administration program and four years of experience as described above
• Graduation from a four-year college or university, preferably with major emphasis on Business administration or a related field and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience
• An equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Three to five years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably in a high-energy office
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, especially PowerPoint, excel, google docs
• Project Management experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Experience in reconciling budgets
• Experience in government and governing body protocol
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, warm personal style, and a customer-service orientation
• Salesforce or other CRM system experience is preferred

Responsibilities:
• Direct responsibility for secure handling of sensitive and/or confidential information
• Direct access to, or responsibility for, cash and cash equivalents, credit card information, University property disbursements or receipts, or extensive authority for committing the financial resources of the University and other budgetary assignments including reconciling the budget
• Manage document preparation, meeting arrangements and calendar coordination, phone calls, event management with internal and external constituents
• Contact information management with updating records and tracking communications
• Project coordination for the department
