Moishe House is searching for a Data & Operations Specialist for our Jewish Learning Collaborative (JLC) team to lead the collection and analysis of data, and design, implement and refine systems and processes for the JLC. This role is crucial to the success of JLC’s day to day internal and constituent-facing operations and reports to the Director of the Jewish Learning Collaborative.

• You have a four-year college degree in a related area or equivalent years of additional work experience
• You have at least three years of full-time post-undergraduate professional experience, ideally with experience in data and analysis

You’ll provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for the JLC team, including:
• Creating, improving, and maintaining systems, processes, and policies to ensure that the JLC is performing at its best, determining how to collect and interpret data to improve all aspects of the JLC You’ll own all metric tracking and data analysis
• Overseeing data, systems, and processes for learners, educators and organizational partners to learn in the JLC
• Supporting via research and analytics key questions regarding growth and expansion
• Tracking and preparing budgets and financial models and grant reports
• Developing and refining internal systems, including payment system for educators
• Supporting the Director in identifying and answering data-based questions and in using data to formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with short and long-term plans
You have knowledge, skills, and abilities at the intermediate to advanced level in the following areas:
• Data capture, data management, and data reporting
• Analytical thinking
• Microsoft and Google software suites, specifically Excel
• Building budgets and grant reporting
• Familiarity with data management tools, and continuously curious about new technological solutions
• Experience with project management software
• Written and verbal communications

The fine print:
The JLC Data & Operations Specialist is a full-time, year-round position, and requires weekday office hours to complete job requirements. This position works in one of our Hub Offices (Encinitas, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., or Charlotte), and is supervised by the Director of the Jewish Learning Collaborative.

Beginning in early 2022, we’re excited to be returning to a hybrid work schedule at our Hub Offices, where employees can choose to work remotely 2 days per week and collaborate in-person with coworkers the rest of the week (Wednesday will be a day we are all in the office together!).

Employees will receive prior notice in advance of starting this new schedule. Moishe House requires “full vaccination” for all staff to travel, work in offices, and participate in any Moishe House group gatherings. We use the CDC’s definition of “full vaccination” as the standard, with variations based on country as needed.

How Moishe House pays you:
• Moishe House’s starting salary ranges are based on education, experience, location, and skillset required for each role
• This is a full-time, exempt position
• Charlotte, NC: $48,000-52,000/year
• Chicago, IL: $50,000-$54,000/year
• Encinitas, CA, NYC or DC: $58,000-$62,000/year
• Annual merit-based salary increase
