Overview:
The Finance Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the senior leadership team at Charlotte Independence Soccer Club. This will be a dynamic and collaborative role, contributing to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial statements and reports – internal and external
• Responsible for day-to-day accounting for the organization
• Create and manage financial policies and procedures
• Effectively maintain all financial records
• Manage financial assistance process, in partnership with Member Services staff
• Partner with CEO on budget preparation
• Provide ad hoc reporting
• Direct work of one staff member
• Additional duties as assigned

• Have excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to apply those skills to solve critical, complex problems
• Embrace technology and its use for creating efficiency in workflow
• Have proven leadership skills and management experience
• Maintain high level of integrity and honesty, with a strong understanding of data privacy standards
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess a thorough understanding of business principles and practices, particularly in the non-profit arena
• Show superior attention to detail with a strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field
• Thorough knowledge and experience using QuickBooks
• 5+ years’ of experience in finance or accounting
