It’s been a little over a year since Dilworth Tasting Room opened in SouthPark, and it’s been off to a hot start.

First things first: DTR SouthPark offers the same commitment to great wine and amazing food in a stunning atmosphere as the OG location in Dilworth, just with a few twists.

In other words, DTR SouthPark offers an extensive wine list, creative cocktails and a range of dishes from small plates to entrees to sides that make it perfect for an upscale but approachable night out.

  • The “Really Serious Stuff” section on the menu, AKA the largest plates, is what really sets it apart.

The deets: Dilworth Tasting Room SouthPark is in the Sharon Square shopping center.

  • Address: 4905 Ashley Park Ln Suite J, Charlotte, NC 28210)
  • Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 3-11 p.m. on Saturday, 3-9 p.m. on Sunday

Here’s the deal: Everything on this menu is delicious.

However, if you need a little inspo, here’s what we’re ordering every time:

DTR Salad

Details: Mixed greens topped with toasted walnuts, fresh apples, dry fig, honey vinaigrette and goat cheese.
Price:
$13
Why we ❤️ it: This salad is sweet, but not overly so thanks to the perfectly-soft goat cheese.

Prosciutto and Brie Flatbread

Details: Topped with apricot jam, sautéed apples, prosciutto, brie, goat cheese, and fresh arugula.
Price:
$18
Why we ❤️ it:
It’s the perfect balance of salty and sweet. DTR perfected flatbreads at the OG location and brought that expertise to SouthPark.

Seared Salmon

Details: Topped with a spiced honey glaze and served on a bed of vegetable fried rice.
Price:
$27
Why we ❤️ it:
The salmon is delish, but honestly the star of the show is the fried rice. It’s perfectly sticky and umami.

Gnocchi

Details: House made gnocchi with roasted butternut squash in a mushroom cream sauce topped with parmesan.
Price:
$24
Why we ❤️ it:
The house made gnocchi is pillowy on the inside and slightly caramelized on the outside.

Hanger Steak

Details: Served with sweet potato mash, charred broccolini, pan gravy and roasted pecans.
Price:
$36
Why we ❤️ it:
The sweet potatoes and pecans balance out the earthy flavors on the plate. Chef’s kiss.

I know we’re talking about the food, but the Cosmo is a must order.

Details: Deep Eddy vodka, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, lime juice, citrus oil vapor bubble, served up.
Price: $15
Why we ❤️ it:
The vapor bubble is added table-side using a fancy bubble gun and you get to pop the bubble before you drink up.
