Red Stone Equity Partners, a high-quality real estate financial services company, is a fast-growing firm specializing in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity investments. Red Stone carefully acquires, structures, and provides long-term fund and asset management services to both its developer and investor clients. Red Stone-managed investment funds acquire interests in affordable multifamily housing apartment communities throughout the United States.

What you’ll be doing:
• The IT Associate supports the IT Manager in maintaining the integrity of all Red Stone Equity’s information technology and systems
• Provides frontline help desk support to end-users, giving prompt and professional resolution to problems with standard hardware, software or network and communications tools and services
• Acts as a frontline troubleshooter and collaborates regularly with the IT Manager on network analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
• Serve as primary desktop support for all incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware; including, but not limited to Windows, Office 365 and all associated applications, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and the phone system
• Provide responsive, timely support to all end-user questions and requests. Set end-user expectations for resolution time and communicate changes in status, as necessary
• Work directly with the IT Manager and third-party consultants to resolve issues pertaining to the network including, but not limited to LAN, WAN, VPN and special application issues
• Perform installation, configuration and upgrades of desktop hardware and software as determined by the IT Manager
• Inventory and maintain all office peripheral equipment including printers, phones, and audiovisual equipment
• Inventory and maintain proper inventory levels for end-users and replacement needs
• Assist the IT Manager and third-party consultants in IT security monitoring, problem resolution, and reporting
• Participate in technical research, surveys and development to enable continuing innovation
• Coordinate support with hardware and software vendors
• Assist in training, scheduling and distributing work and information

What we’re looking for:
• 1-2 years of hands-on working knowledge and experience supporting enterprise-level platforms and IT support experience to include; installing, configuring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting computer hardware/software, networked printers, and peripheral issues
• Two or four-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate detailed information
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively in an office and remote, virtual setting
