Oveview:
The World of Outlaws Late Models have some of the greatest fans in dirt motorsports and we want to give them a memorable at-track experience.

Think of this role as an air traffic controller but for the big video screen. This person partners with our race staff, our streaming video team and our content team to direct entertaining and informative content to the big screen throughout the night. This person is responsible for the set up and storage of the screen too. It’s a great opportunity to see the United States as this person travels with the best late model series in the country!

The right person has at least a year’s experience in sports, events, media production or dispatch. This person might have some basic video production experience. The right candidate is able to calmly communicate, effectively juggle different personalities and keep the at-track fan experience in mind.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary operator of the mobile large video screen. This includes and is not limited to: setting up, maintaining and storing the big screen and video transmission equipment, troubleshooting issues, and proactively addressing issues that may interfere with the successful operation of the at-track program
• Produce big-screen video content throughout the event; partner with the event, fan engagement and production staff
• Establish and follow the nightly schedule for on-screen activities; adjust the schedule if necessary based on specific event occurrences
• In partnership with the production team, create creative and entertaining content for in-race, at-track video elements
• Follow guidelines and requirements for sponsor and in-event deliverables
• Liaison with DIRTVision producer, announcers, fan engagement team and race officials at each event to ensure a smooth and entertaining program for at-track attendees; participate and contribute in pre and post-event planning sessions
• As needed, assist in face-to-face fan activities
• As needed, assist in the safe transport and installation of big video screen and trailer
• Ensure the at-track experience and fan entertainment is considered and valued in all decisions
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:
• At least one year of experience in sports, events, video production or dispatch strongly preferred
• Understanding of basic video production is strongly preferred
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Able to multi-task and communicate calmly, effectively and with a variety of personality types throughout the race event
• CDL Class A preferred
• Able and willing to understand and learn new technology
• Understanding of short track dirt racing a plus
• Able to quickly and willingly juggle high priority requests
• High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
• Sense of initiative necessary
• Able to legally enter and exit Canada

Notes:
• Role-based in Concord, NC
• Monthly overnight travel will average between 30% -95% during the racing season. Off-season monthly overnight travel averages 0-5%
• This role requires frequent sitting, occasional walking, standing and climbing stairs; the frequent use of hands to grasp and feel; occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds with infrequent lifting up to 50 pound; may require the use of close vision under natural and artificial light; frequent exposure to outdoor elements including loud noises and dust
