Overview:
DIRTVision is the leading streaming service for dirt track racing. We’re looking for the right person to lead and oversee our field production staff, equipment and processes.

This person manages the field production operations and staff for the national touring series as well as our weekly racing properties. They will develop consistency across all field production properties, implement workflows and document best practices.

Like solving complex issues? Well, this role develops and implements the streaming staffing, equipment, and plans for large-scale and marquee events.

We’re looking for someone with 5 or more years in broadcast or field production (preferably in sports) with some managerial experience. This person need to be familiar with production technology in order to help troubleshoot issues. The right candidate can lead the team and jump in if needed.

Responsibilities:
• Manage field production operations and staff for national touring series as well as weekly racing properties; train new staff and re-train as needed
• Oversee and maintain all field production equipment, vehicles and workflow; forecast and manage maintenance, replacement, expansion and upgrades
• Develop consistency across all field production properties
• Assist the General Manager, DIRTVision to ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and performance of qualified producers, camera operators and other production support personnel
• Develop, document and implement workflows and best practices
• Establish and implement plans for large-scale and/or marquee events; provide on-site field production assistance
• Anticipate, research and develop new methodologies for field production
• Oversee and maintain large-screen production technology for multiple series
• Provide hands-on assistance and production support as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years broadcast and/or field production experience, preferably in sports media
• 2+ years previous managerial experience needed
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Able to identify and troubleshoot issues with production technology
• Knowledge of short track dirt racing helpful
• High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
• Proven record of dependability and integrity
• Strong organizational skills necessary
• Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously

Notes:
• Based in Concord, NC
• 25% – 33% average monthly travel. During prime race season, this position may travel up to three weekends a month
• This position requires frequent sitting and occasional walking and standing; the use of hands to grasp and feel frequently; the occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds, may require the use of close vision
• While this position is based indoors, there may be occasional exposure to outdoor weather elements such as dirt, fumes, vehicles moving at various rates of speed, and loud noises
• Able to legally enter/exit Canada
