The college is currently seeking a director of digital strategy who will work within the Communications, Marketing & Public Relations department to develop a content strategy for and governance of and provide leadership for the digital strategy team.

• Maintaining and updating the college’s website
• Develops, directs, and implements the college’s digital marketing and communications strategy, including college website strategy, content governance and inventory and ensures the website meets all federal ADA requirements for accessibility
• Leads efforts to ensure the website is accessible and functional from all devices and meets the ever-changing needs of prospective and current students
• Manages the development and lifecycle of content for respective audiences
• Leads and empowers the Digital Strategy Team to access and control, implement, test and tweak web-centric marketing
• Provides writing and editorial support for, and monitoring of, the college’s online written and video-based communications, as well as, other digital communications efforts as needed
• Shares best practices and resources for intranet strategy and content governance with the communications team
• Helps manage the development of content for the college’s integrated online presence, tracks online traffic to identify trends in site usage, and regularly reviews the college’s webpages to ensure best-practice search-optimization
• Identifies opportunities for clients to use digital technology to enhance their overall messaging
• Collaborates with various cross-functional and departmental leaders to provide necessary digital marketing support services
• Trains content/QA coordinators as needed

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 6 years of experience in marketing communications, Website management, or related work, with some supervisory experience


Knowledge, skills, abilities, and worker characteristics: 
• Outstanding written, verbal and communication skills and ability to demonstrate leadership and make tough decisions while exercising diplomacy and consensus building with college stakeholders
• Ability to define web architecture detailing what sites and social assets are needed and/or will be maintained
• Ability to conduct web asset audits to map a brand’s web presence and assess the effectiveness of each asset  Knowledge of mobile marketing trends and regularly shares recommendations on tactics and strategies
• Strong knowledge of website design, html, search and social advertising, URL architecting, programmatic advertising
• Knowledge of ADA WCAG requirements
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, and Google Analytics  Highly creative with experience devising effective digital assets, digital campaigns, and web presence
• Understanding of best practices in storytelling through digital media
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills with proven track record in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills proven marketing analytics experience
• Team-player with a positive outlook
