Inventory Associate

Overview:
Come join a very early-stage e-commerce startup. Stork Exchange is an online resale marketplace for baby goods. We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated individual to take a part-time operations role. Organization, time management, and attention to detail are key. As an inventory associate, your job would be to support our inventory team fulfilling online orders, processing inventory, and manning our small retail store. There is significant potential to grow into a larger role alongside the company if desired. The ability to work without structure and take on new tasks with minimal guidance is very important – flexibility and eagerness are key.

This is a part-time position of roughly 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some flexibility around working mornings or afternoons.

Skills and qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to learn and work with a variety of computer programs and apps
• Candidate must be an adaptable and quick learner that is well-organized, meticulous, and can self-motivate
• Candidate should be prepared to work in an unstructured environment with little hand-holding – this position will be what you make it

Responsibilities:
• Fulfill online orders
• Clean and process incoming inventory
• Maintain front-of-house and assist customers in-store as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
