Overview:
Offline (www.letsgetoffline.com | @offlineraleighdurham) is seeking a Community Manager to help us launch and run our Charlotte market.

Job summary:
As our Charlotte Community Manager, your primary goal will be helping us launch and grow Offline’s member community, taking what we’ve learned in Raleigh-Durham and adding your own innovation and ideas to help us succeed. You will spend the majority of your time and energy investing in:
Our Charlotte social channels
You will be responsible for content creation, audience engagement, and audience growth of our new Charlotte accounts.
Organizing and managing Offline events
You will work directly with business owners and members to ensure an amazing experience for everyone involved.
Creating email announcements and newsletters
You will create email invites for our events and write short-form copy for the monthly Newsletter.
Being the face and voice of Offline in the community
You will be representing our brand at events, building relationships with community influencers and business owners, and refining our voice in digital channels.

Requirements:
Content creation

We’re looking for someone who is absolutely amazing at content creation (static posts, stories, reels/videos, etc) and audience growth. You should be excited about testing and perfecting new formats, and reacting to data/feedback from our audience.
Event management
Were looking for a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple event timelines at once. You’ll need to be light on your feet and able to calmly manage chaotic situations.
Email communication
You will need to have excellent communication skills and create short-form copy for event invites and newsletters.
Networking and business development
Community Managers will work very closely with the sales team to build community relationships that lead to sales opportunities. This means staying in the know at all times and knowing how to spot an opportunity and activate it.

Compensation and benefits:
• One of the reasons that this role is exciting is the ability to contribute directly to revenue growth. Through social media, event partnerships, networking, and community building, your end goal will be to sustainably increase the number of Offline’s paying members and events. Everyone at Offline is compensated through a competitive base salary plus a bonus structure based on growth
• You will have a $500/m expense account for food/drinks/entertainment to capture content, in addition to frequent complimentary food/drinks/experiences as Offline’s Community Manager
• You will have a monthly stipend for remote workspace. The exact amount is TBD
• Offline offers healthcare, dental, vision, and 401k (4% match)

Hours and location:
Offline’s team is distributed between Raleigh-Durham and DC and currently operates on a hybrid work model. Members of our core team will make frequent trips to Charlotte during and after our launch to ensure we’re building a strong support system and culture. We will also host you in Raleigh for strategic company meetings.

Outlook
Offline’s vision is to scale to additional cities (starting with Charlotte). As you master the Community Manager role, there will be opportunities to help grow the Offline team and take on more leadership responsibility.
