Brixx Wood Fired Pizza is a full-service restaurant serving craveable and creative wood-fired pizza and wings, pasta, salad and more. Our full bar has 24 craft beers on tap, specialty cocktails and a curated selection of wines. Born in Charlotte, NC, in 1998, our footprint has grown to include 26 locations, a mix of company-owned and franchises, across 6 states with more locations on the horizon. Operating out of the Brixx corporate headquarters in Charlotte, this role engages in all facets of strategic marketing and creative services and serves as a hub between individual restaurant owners and teams, the internal creative team, and outside vendors. This is a people-facing, hands-on position where the director assists in the development and execution of brand communications, system-wide and location-specific marketing initiatives and activations ranging from social media campaigns and paid advertising to community relations and on-site promotional events.

The Director supports the revenue growth for all locations and the growth of the brand. The ultimate goal of all work related to this position is increasing restaurant sales year over year and forecasting needs and opportunities.

Innovation and out-of-the-box thinking coupled with traditional marketing tactics will be key to the success of the new omnichannel marketing program in development. The person who fills this role will be a critical part of establishing and maximizing the effectiveness of the omnichannel strategy in collaboration with the company’s senior leadership team.

Long-term growth projections indicate that the Director will be expected to travel occasionally and spend time in restaurant locations and may oversee the addition of field marketing teams.

• Enforce company brand standards and restaurant marketing philosophies across the system
• Coordinate internal communications through various channels including newsletters, intranet and more
• Collaborate with operational and regional leaders to evaluate appropriate support approach, expectations, frequency and execution of touchpoints for each restaurant
• Train new operators on restaurant marketing processes and expectations
• Provide ongoing training on new/existing marketing initiatives and programs
• Develop and execute monthly/quarterly/annual marketing plans and supporting campaigns
• Develop and manage marketing program budgets; measure and optimize marketing programs to ensure activities are effective, efficient, and deliver high return on investment
• Develop and lead execution of complex regional marketing plans that include sales, customer, ROI and brand loyalty goals

• Establish and maintain local sponsor and partner relationships, negotiate contracts, implement assets and evaluate impact
• Manage crisis communications and public relations
• Monitor online reputation and guest interaction
• Provide creative direction to in-house team and external vendors including but not limited to all print collateral, email marketing, and advertising
• Support and develop marketing team by providing performance reviews, continual feedback, mentoring and career growth for direct reports
• Team currently includes a Digital Marketing Manager and a Marketing Specialist-Graphic Design
• Remain current on emerging market trends and technologies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and experience
• 8+ years of relevant marketing experience which can be a combination of B2B and B2C internet/digital marketing, traditional and modern advertising, creative agency work and/or brand communications
• Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in the ability to positively and creatively influence change and direction within professional environments
• Strong, demonstrable combination of advertising, data, finance and brand acumen
