The Perfect Peel is a non-invasive chemical peel that offers a faster recovery window than other similar treatments.
Even better: It still provides the dramatic results you’d expect from a chemical peel.
It’s one of the most popular MedSpa procedures at Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery, so we tried it out and asked their team a few questions to get the inside scoop on the Perfect Peel.
What is a Perfect Peel and what results is it supposed to provide?
Key ingredient: While exact peel formulas are proprietary, it’s the only medical-grade chemical peel that features Glutathione, which is the ultimate antioxidant with powerful antioxidants to regulate uneven skin tones (even melisma), improve acne, and reduce wrinkles.
- Other powerful ingredients include TCA, Kojic Acid, Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and Vitamin C.
The results: The Perfect Peel helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and overall improves skin tone and texture.

Who is a good candidate for a Perfect Peel?
Everyone! (As long as you’re not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.)
- Whether you have sun spots, acne scars, or a dull or aging complexion, the Perfect Peel can deliver results for all skin types. It’s safe for all Fitzpatrick Skin Types.
What’s the process like?
Step 1: Have a consultation with your Esthetician.
Step 2: Cleanse the skin, apply the peel solution (it will tingle a bit), and leave on for 6-18 hours.
- Yup, you’ll walk out of the office with the solution still on your face. Leaving it on for as long as possible (even overnight) will help you get the best results.
- The solution hardens a bit, so you don’t have to worry about it coming off on things.

What the Perfect Peel solution looks like on your skin after treatment.
Step 3: Your skin will start to peel about two days after the treatment and may continue for about four more days.
- Okay, but: Peeling will be milder than other treatments (such as BBL and Halo lasers).
When do the results kick in?
Once your skin is done peeling, you should notice a brighter, clearer complexion. The Perfect Peel helps clear up any acne and encourages cell turnover (to get rid of scarring).
In our experience, it felt like the treatment that just kept on giving. A few months later (after a pretty bare-bones skincare routine) our skin looked and felt much better than it did before the Perfect Peel.
Experts recommend doing a series of two to four peels about a month apart for maximum benefits.
How much does it cost at Criswell & Criswell?
It ranges from $200-$300 and boosters can be added for additional results.
What Criswell is saying: “All of our peels are customized to best fit our client’s needs.”
Anything else someone should keep in mind?
Even better: The Perfect Peel is a great “restart” to your skin and pairs nicely with a Dermaplaning treatment, microdermabrasion or facial.
