We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This position works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other members of the Accounting team to implement the fiscal functions of the Club in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Problem solving, initiative, dependability, integrity, and ethical conduct are required of this position.

• Perform transactional accounting functions with primary responsibility for accounts payable, corporate credit card program, leases, fixed assets and construction accounting
• Implement systems for expense management, payables automation and fixed assets, along with other team members
• Monitor cash balances and cash forecast weekly
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Assist with audits, tax returns and other projects as required
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures
• Ability to prioritize and work independently

Education, skills, and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
• Three years of relevant, progressive experience required. Non-profit or club experience a plus
• Proficiency in standard computer programs such as Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel, as well the ability to learn and use accounts payable automation and Club-specific software programs is required
• Professionalism, discretion and excellent customer service skills are required
