We are looking for a competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) that thrives in a fast-paced environment to sell conference attendance to marketing-generated leads using sales techniques to convey the unique value proposition for our virtual and in-person events. This is an outstanding entry-level opportunity for recent college graduate and/or a candidate with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience to break into inside sales. • Conduct outbound phone calls per established daily/weekly quotas
• Follow up with marketing-generated leads via email outreach and telephone calls
• Qualify inbound leads & convert to registrations
• Handle objections and present value in a clear and concise manner
• Build rapport with corporate partnerships to generate groups of conference attendees
• Identify influencers within top organizations and cold call
• Manage sales pipeline using Salesforce for visibility
• Field customer service questions from conference attendees
• Answer inbound phone calls and live chat
• Exceed personal quotas and conference goals
• Provide internal market feedback to the team clearly and effectively

Qualifications, skills, education and experience:
• Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience
• Results-oriented, competitive self-starter
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone skills with experience closing sales via phone
• Sales trained with knowledge of best practices for telesales
• Persuasive communicator, verbally and written
• Proficient with Salesforce a plus
