This year, we celebrated a major milestone, launching a SaaS product for corporate communications called Axios HQ. We are looking for a Director of Sales Enablement for our Axios HQ team. Why it Matters:
As our first Sales Enablement hire, you will serve an integral role in both strategically building out the enablement function while also moving the needle quickly on the velocity of Axios HQ’s commercial team. This role will train, coach, and develop our entire commercial team, including account executives, account managers, and associates.

Go Deeper:
In this role, you will make an impact to Axios through the following responsibilities:
• Develop a portfolio of programs and training curricula addressing key business priorities based on the needs of the Axios HQ commercial team
• Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
• Produce physical and digital educational material (e.g. videos, PowerPoint presentations, case studies)
• Onboard new commercial team members and help coach them through the “signoff” process
• Report on the impact of training programs (e.g. commercial milestones achieved)
• Provide 1:1 coaching (as needed) of commercial team members post signoff
• Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals and organize high-impact development moments for team

• Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios’ mission and have the following skills:
• Deep experience in sales, sales enablement, coaching and development
• Track record of building successful enablement programs and curriculum development
• Experience in 1:1 coaching conversations and ability to manage various stages of performance
• Strong presence and ability to engage a remote audience
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs of a high growth sales team
• Experience working with sales tools including (Hubspot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
