Scheduling/Staffing Manager
Overview:
The Staffing Manager is responsible for all aspects of event staffing including scheduling, management and training of all event staff and event independent contractors and assisting with the recruiting efforts.
What you will be doing:
• Responsible for high volume staffing of events as determined by the event size and venue
• Work with all departments to ensure each event is staffed efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all servers and staff
• Attend weekly meetings to take detailed notes on each event to ensure the event is staffed properly and the Event Lead/Manager is fully prepared
• Responsible for payroll/timecard approvals to ensure accurate payroll processing
• Maintains relationship with outside staffing avenues to coordinate additional staffing when needed
• Assists with the development and implementation of event staff training programs
• Assists with the development and evaluation of all event managers, bartenders, and services as they progress in experience and skill set
• Ensures all staff are educated and adhere to Event Staff policies including dress code/uniforms, reporting and attendance, etc
• Reports the labor cost of the events monthly
• Manages service staff reporting to the office for events, clocking them in, providing any uniform materials needed, ensuring adherence to dress code
• Evaluate staff arriving for events to ensure there is adequate staff for each event and calling in backups as needed for no-shows, etc

What you need to bring:
Successful candidates are eager to work with a positive attitude, people-oriented approach and great organizational skills. They will have
• Bachelors Degree or 2-3 years experience in high volume staffing
• Self-motivated to work under pressure with high volume objectives
• Strong organization skills with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills including written & verbal
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and holidays
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable
