One of the largest holiday light displays in the Southeast returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, Nov. 19.
The big picture: The massively popular Christmas light show drew thousands last year, often causing backups on the roads leading to the Concord-based racetrack. Now Speedway Christmas is back with 4 million lights along a four-mile course.
What to expect: As you drive along the course, the lights pair with holiday music, which you can play from your car radio. I went last year, and it was pretty magical.

- Of note: These cars can be big (up to 15 people per car are allowed). Entry for buses cost $140 on Monday-Wednesday and $170 on Thursday-Sunday.
