Social Media and Brand Coordinator

Job summary:
As a member of our marketing team, your contribution will be to leverage your social media savvy, content writing abilities, as well as planning and general marketing skills, to support the overall business strategy.

• Run point on all social media channels including: Facebook, LinkedIn, Google My Business, YouTube, and Twitter
• Create a presence on new social channels such as TikTok or Instagram
• Research, propose, and execute paid and organic strategies, including promotions and campaigns, targeting new and existing customers
• Maintain our branded merch inventory, including reordering when needed and proposing new swag
• Participate in brainstorms supporting content calendar creation with an eventual role as a regular contributor on our blog
• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal company events, with the possibility of expanding into external events
• Keep up-to-date with industry-related news, topics, and events
• Acquire capabilities in our martech stack (including Google Analytics, HubSpot, and others) in order to track and analyze performance
• Responsible for coordinating across teams and departments to facilitate all aspects of job responsibilities

• This position plays a vital role in our success. Here are some highlights of the type of person and background we believe would thrive:
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications
• 1-2+ years of experience in a relevant marketing role
• Experience with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, including Facebook Business Suite
• Familiarity with a social media scheduling tool such as HootSuite or SproutSocial
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, SalesForce, HubSpot, and marketing principles
• Exhibit solid understanding of social media and general business strategy
• Proven research and verbal skills
• Must be willing and motivated to get things done efficiently and effectively
• Must possess the ability to multitask while maintaining a high quality of work
• Previous retail experience is a plus
