If LaMelo Ball‘s 31 points in the Hornets 123-122 win against the Pacers opening night didn’t catch your attention, his postgame outfit certainly did.

Last season’s rookie of the year turned heads off the court in his neon suit from his lifestyle fashion brand, LaFrancé.

What he got right: SHOWROOM owner Erica Hanks has styled her fair share of professional athletes, from the Panthers to NASCAR drivers and others. She described LaMelo’s suit to Axios as “on trend” and “fashion forward.”

  • It also worked well with his height. He’s 6-foot-6.
  • Hanks credited him with taking risks, because not everyone will love the neon look.

“LaMelo’s style is fresh, hot, and on trend and he wears it so well,” Hanks told Axios. “It’s intentional and thoughtful, but casual cool, and I love the way he isn’t afraid to push the line, especially with a neon suit from his own clothing brand LaFrancé.”

Bonus: LaMelo’s suit matched his Lamborghini.
