Internal Account Manager

Overview:
Employers entrust us with their most important asset, the health of their workforce. Our Account Managers are the day-to-day contacts for our clients. Partnering with a specific block of business to help demystify employee healthcare and create a better experience for both clients and employees.

How the Internal Account Manager will add to the team:
• Assist in the administration of our clients’ healthcare plans through proactive communication
• Manage large claim and inpatient stay notices
• Manage and file initial, subsequent, and pre-funded reinsurance claims, and forward reimbursements to clients
• Follow up on reinsurance filings that are not received in a timely fashion
• Manage the process of obtaining answers to questions from clients and brokers, as it relates various issues and questions such as claims, benefits, and eligibility
• Assist in obtaining Other Insurance information and accident information from the Employer or Employee to complete the processing of claims
• Act as a liaison between our clients and internal Healthgram team members
• Working as a team to effectively mediate concerns
• Respond to Call Center Tickets as needed
• Develop personal relationships with each of our clients
• Account Managers are the educators of benefit topics, helping the plan run as effectively as possible
• Visit each client once per calendar year
• Be available to attend client benefit fairs
• Attend company and department meetings

What the ideal Internal Account Manager would bring:

• Ability to work within a claims system is a plus
• Natural ability to build and maintain relationships
• A positive and personable attitude
• Account Management or Healthcare experience is a plus (2-3+ years preferred)
• 4-year College degree required
