Marketing Manager

Overview:
Offit Kurman has an opening for a marketing professional to join its Charlotte, NC office. The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing initiatives and programs that support new client and existing client relationships and build Offit Kurman’s brand awareness. Responsibilities will include working with attorneys in the firm’s Charlotte, Spartanburg, SC, and Rock Hill, SC offices and serving as the marketing liaison for several practice groups. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented and have impeccable communication skills. Marketing experience is required; prior professional services marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Provide marketing support to attorneys across the region and in firmwide practice groups
• Working with attorneys and groups, develop marketing plans and implement related campaigns and initiatives
• Marketing initiatives include: marketing strategy and plan development, personal and group branding and visibility, content development and dissemination across various channels, special events, awards and surveys, creation of marketing collateral, proposal development, social media campaigns, digital advertising and more
• Draft, review and edit a variety of marketing materials
• Collaborate with the Marketing team, located throughout the firm’s geographic footprint, on broader marketing initiatives and the execution of firmwide events
• Meet with attorneys on a regular basis to offer support and ensure marketing needs are being addressed
• Develop, promote and support in-person and virtual events including: webinars, panel discussions, networking functions, speaking engagements and roundtables
• Track marketing expenses and monitor budgets
• Role reports to the Director of Marketing

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in marketing or business preferred
• 4-6 years relevant marketing experience
• Proficiency with social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to support all offices within the region, as needed

Preferred qualifications:
• Professional services experience a plus
• Experience with Office365, SharePoint, WordPress, email marketing tools, GoToWebinar, Zoom, Adobe Suite, MS Teams
