Mortgage Design can be cool. You read that right. We promise. Movement is looking for a digital designer to help us carry out a unique creative challenge: Go too far. We have a mandate to move people. To make great, un-safe, outside-of-the-box content for a mortgage company… a bank… multiple schools… exciting events. You get the point. We challenge our creatives to go too far. To make us reign you in. If you’re tired of bloated bureaucracies and timid approvers holding you back, you will absolutely love it here.

We are NOT your average mortgage company. We move fast. Our structure is flat instead of layered. Our execs wear T-shirts instead of suits. Almost half of the company’s profits go to a non-profit foundation to serve the underserved. We believe in our work and have a lot of fun doing it. When we aren’t working to design next-level work, we’re likely attending a department skillshare, celebrating another productive week and exchanging memes and GIFs. This isn’t your parents’ corporate marketing job. Our department is known for being among the best in the mortgage industry. We didn’t say it, we’re just not disagreeing. See? • We’re in search of a digital designer who knows how to walk the tightrope between innovation and discipline
• Someone who will be a quick study of our brand guidelines but who will dazzle us with what can be done within those guidelines
• Someone who knows how to use complex digital tools to make elegantly simple solutions
• You’ll be responsible for designing clean, eye-catching and responsive websites, digital marketing campaigns that are focused on conversion
• You should feel comfortable collaborating throughout every stage of a project: strategy, UX, design, dev and beyond
• We move as one and we need someone who can be a flexible and nimble team player
• You need to keep an eye on the details and the big picture – you should think beyond a single channel execution and be skilled at scaling designs across different media like web, email, social and more
• You’ll get a variety of assignments here that will immerse you in many different areas of design as you support our brand, video, social, and digital teams
• Even though we’re counting on you being a digital expert, you’ll still have a chance to design everything from T-shirts to logos to environmental graphics
• We predict that your Dribble, Behance or Squarespace or wherever you show the design work you’re most proud of will be transformed


Minimum requirements
• 2-5 years of digital design experience (agency experience is a plus)
• Good eye for branding and design best practices
• Fluency in all Creative Suite programs
• Knowledge of prototyping software (Adobe XD, Figma)
Even better
• An understanding of CSS styling/animation, HTML and Javascript
• Familiar with Unbounce, Webflow, or Adobe Experience Manager
