Database Associate
Overview:
Charlotte-area Association Management Company needs to hire a dedicated individual as a Database Associate.
Responsibilities:
Database records management
• Maintain member and non-member information in client databases
• Address inquiries from members and prospects regarding their records and registrations
• Provide necessary member lists for mail and email marketing
• Manage general mailboxes
• Invoice/track sponsorships and communicate with sponsors on benefits and registrations
• Act as a liaison to the database support vendors
Event registration processing
• Event Setup in databases
• Process and verify event registrations for client programs
• Process appropriate registration payments
• Manage online registration folders
• Send meeting confirmations and registration receipts
• Run and stuff badges/ribbons for meetings for admins
• Assist in onsite registration as needed
• Close meetings
Dues processing
• Bill and record member dues
• Process new member applications
Member/Client services
• Receive and respond to member inquiries
• Provide strong customer relations skills on the phone and face-to-face
• Follow upon payment for outstanding invoices
Other
• Monitor appropriate levels of meeting supplies
• Other duties as may be assigned
Skills and abilities:

• Effective and professional communication (verbal and written)
Education and experience:
• NetForum database experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Windows environments knowledge

Work hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or as may otherwise be set.
