
Barbecue restaurant Noble Smoke will join Optimist Hall’s lineup in early 2022.
About: Owned by chef and restaurateur Jim Noble, the 527-square-foot stall will serve the same Southern BBQ you’d find at its flagship location at 2216 Freedom Drive.
- Noble’s restaurant group is also behind Rooster’s, Bossy Beulah’s, The King’s Kitchen, Copain, and The Jimmy, which recently opened in Myers Park.
Zoom out: Noble Smoke will be the 25th tenant at Optimist Hall, and it will be located next to Xiao Bao and Pet Wants.

Menu: The barbecue is inspired by both the Carolinas and Texas, and it’ll be available by the pound or in a sandwich.
- Sides include pan-fried green beans, slaw, collards, and mac & cheese.
Location: Optimist Hall is located at 1115 N. Brevard St., right off the Parkwood light rail station.
