Job summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and consistent with the mission of Girls on the Run International, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing council information, enhancing council relations, and supporting the Council Development team in their effort to create a strong and thriving council network. Girls on the Run International is the headquarters for an organization supporting over 180 local councils (i.e. local chapters). This position works to support the council network and the Council Development Regional Directors who work to strengthen the council network.

Responsibilities:
Council information
• Data Management: Manage and ensure council data is up-to-date and accurate; distribute pertinent information to council development team and chief level staff each month including council territory maps, council dashboard, council updates. Oversee database with dates of notification and approval of council changes
• Data Collection: Manage process to gather council information including KPI reports, contracts, seasonal insights. Assist HQ reporting team with seasonal data collection as needed
• Council Changes: Manage and process all affiliate, independent and subsidiary council changes, including council termination process, and communicate changes to GOTRI staff
Council development
• Manage new council inquiries and ensure council start up and territory expansion communication templates are up to date
• In conjunction with Regional Directors, manage new council application and onboarding
• Manage council expansion process
• Assist Regional Directors with council mergers, expansions as needed
• Assist with compliance and audit review of councils as needed
General support
• Council Inquiries: Respond in a prompt, professional and culturally aligned manner to daily inquiries and provide support to councils. Manage the council customer service help desk and internal message board. Respond/route as appropriate
• Council Pass-Thru Grants: Support senior leadership and Council Development team with communication and distribution of HQ grants to councils
• Crisis Management: Oversee management of crisis hotline, providing connection and care to councils by connecting during local crises or other challenging situations. Manage HQ support response to councils
• Public Inquiries: Manage inquiries from the public that come in through the 1-800 number and various @girlsontherun email accounts
• Assist with council staff onboarding, orientation and training as needed and partner with Council Development Team to ensure staff connection, support and sense of belonging
• Support Chief Operating Officer with team meetings, follow up and other duties as needed

General responsibilities:
• Serve as a Girls on the Run role model, exhibiting GOTR core values and working to help achieve the GOTR mission
• Safely and responsibly manage confidential information
• Cultivate positive, trusting relationships with council directors, volunteers, board members, community members and staff
• Any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications and skills:
• Experience in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment, with customer service and/or project management experience preferred
• Strong communicator with excellent written and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and projects at a time and deliver within deadlines
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent technology skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) knowledge required; Asana, Zendesk, Salesforce, SharePoint, Cornerstone platform experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
• Non-profit experience a plus

Compensation and benefits:
This is a full-time non-exempt position is offering a compensation range of $17 – $20 hourly, depending on experience. In addition, Girls on the Run offers a generous PTO plan, a benefits package including company-subsidized medical and dental, vision coverage, life insurance, and paid medical leave and a 401k plan with employer match. This position is 40 hours per week and is completely remote. The selected candidate must currently reside in or have immediate plans to relocate to one of the following states: California, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas.
