RIP Chop Shop. Saturday sounded like a blast. You’ve got about a month to check out Tremont before it goes away. Go, go, go. Get funkin’ or bluesin’ this week. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.

Agenda Picks

  • 11/18: Turkuaz, The Fritz, Elephant Wrecking Ball; Rabbit Hole, 7 p.m., $12 (tickets). This Brooklyn funk band brings their nine-piece act to the Rabbit Hole. A little boogie-ing, foot-stomping and coordinated dancing will be a nice way to get past the midway point of the week. Close your eyes for long enough, and you just may find yourself in the 70’s. Maybe.

  • 11/19: Tab Benoit, Edward David Anderson; Neighborhood Theatre, 8 p.m., $25-$30 (tickets). Tab Benoit hit the scene at the ripe age of 20 in Louisiana in 1987, and he’s been playing the delta blues ever since. Loads of passion.
