Sales and Marketing Manager
Job summary:
Responsible for driving sales growth of Anne Neilson Home products throughout the United States. This includes all ANH accounts, representative showrooms and ANH website. The focus will be to increase distribution while developing exceptionally strong customer relationships. This will include but is not limited to the sales representatives in all territories selling ANH products. The Sales Manager will help promote the company culture as well as further develop selling teams. Creating and implementing sales training, making sure the ANH story is top of mind, attending all major markets approved by ANH, visiting top sales representatives in their territory to celebrate success and further drive business outcomes is an important part of this position.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
• Create and communicate sales goals to internal team and partner with other departments on assets to support those goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to better understand their business objectives and needs
• Monitor and shift strategic directions of account success and tactical budgets
• Manage monthly replenishment orders and monitor correct shipments
• Oversee/execute commissions paid to the representative showrooms
• Provide the ANH team with a weekly, monthly and yearly sales report
• Oversee and build a customer service department to ensure client satisfaction
• Design and develop training programs for sales representatives to support a variety of sales development initiatives
• Collaborate, create and execute marketing ideas to expand the message through branding with the entire ANH team
• Share in the responsibility of merchandising products both in showrooms and stores
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate should be a strong professional with dynamic selling skills
• Must possess strong presentation, communication and teaching skills
• He/She must be energetic, likable, motivated and team-oriented
• Should possess strong time management, organizational and computer skills
• Must have a great first impression with a desire to learn, grow and adapt to ongoing change while driving every aspect of the business in a small company with high standards for branding and growth
• This candidate should have a strong customer focus
• Be able to perform quarterly reviews with showroom management to encourage the development
Skills:
• College Degree
• Able to travel
• Sales management experience
• Training experience not required but beneficial
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Mac proficiency a plus)
• Ability to communicate effectively & resolve conflicts both orally and in writing with both internal team as well as customers
