Digi-Bridge works to bridge the digital divide in Charlotte by providing hands-on STEAM coursework for K-8th grade scholars, hardware-agnostic tech consultancy to local schools, and advocating for digital equity through community action. Since 2015, Digi-Bridge has been providing K-8 scholars throughout Mecklenburg County with STEAM learning experiences serving more than 15,000 students and twenty partner schools.

Job summary:
Digi-Bridge’s Business and Program Operations Coordinator will work with Digi-Bridge leadership to improve operational management systems, processes and best practices that guarantee workplace and organizational well-being. Additionally, this position will support program coordination and execution. This position will require in-person work at our headquarters and Innovation Alley programming space at Hygge Coworking (1026 Jay Street, 28208) and with our partner schools/programs spread out across Charlotte Mecklenburg. Some functions can be performed remotely. This position reports to the CEO. The start date for this position is between August 1 and September 1, 2021.

Responsibilities:
Business operations (25% of role)
• Donor Management
• Improving and maintaining the current donor database
• Assisting with fundraising campaign communications/logistics
• Running reports for analysis
• Accounting
• Responsible for all invoicing (accounts receivable and payable)
• Working with outsourced accounting firm on receipt and expense tracking
• Filing reports with the outsourced accounting firm
• Working with the Board of Director Finance Committee on monthly financial reports
• Office Management
• Support the improvement of existing systems and the development of new systems to ensure organizational efficiency
• Schedule and coordinate weekly team meetings
• Support CEO with tasks, scheduling, meeting preparation
Volunteer operations (25% of role)
• Work with Program Manager to determine volunteer needs for supplies organization, kit development
• Create volunteer onboarding process and tracking tool
• Assist with day of volunteer events logistics
• Steward volunteer groups and serve as a point of contact for all volunteering related events
Program operations (50% of role)
• Materials Management
• Manage Digi-Bridge inventory ranging from robotics kits, computers, Digi-Bin curriculum bins, and more
• Utilize SnipIt Inventory management system to keep track of inventory
• Create a supply schedule in coordination with the Program Manager to ensure supplies are accounted for prior to program usage
• Purchase supplies necessary for various programs and coordinate deliveries, storage of assets
• Plan, execute and manage supply pick-ups and drop-off
• Program Coordination
• Assist Program Manager with operational tasks of programming such as attendance records and other program-wide needs
• Maintain and update program evaluation data tracking tools
• Assist with Digi-Bridge student programming both in schools and in the community
• Innovation Alley Oversight
• Manage all inventory in Innovation Alley programming space
• Assist with set up of programs, meetings, etc. that occur in the space

Experience and skills:
• 2 years experience in operations, project management, or related field
• Experience with curriculum development or education, youth programs preferred
• Experience with business software including Quickbooks, donor management CRM, Google for Business suite would make for a standout candidate
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective time manager
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to communicate with all Digi-Bridge shareholders

Compensation and benefits:
• This is a full-time exempt position.
• Salary range is $36,000-$38,000.
• Digi-Bridge offers a supplementary stipend for expenses such as cell phone and benefits
• In addition to paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
