Job summary:
Fast-growing trailer manufacturer seeks energetic, self-starter to assist Shipping and Trailer Assembly departments with activities related to (1) trailer production, record keeping and compliance, and (2) a variety of other administrative and clerical tasks and duties providing support to Trailer Assembly and Logistics departments. Assist in daily office and production needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

This is not just an administrative desk job.  It does involve data entry and other types of detailed, administrative work – but also involves working out in our plant and in the shipping yard with a lot of movement and activity. The position requires someone who likes to stay busy with lots of variety in their day.

• Prepare and keep accurate documentation and records of shipments to and from customers, powder coaters and other vendors
• Prepare trailers, parts and other products for shipping as required by customer or management
• Schedule or work with customers to schedule shipments for product deliveries to customers
• Prepare shipping documentation for all deliveries to or for customers
• Maintain daily shipping logs
• Process customer parts orders, including system entry, shipment packaging and documentation
• Assist with Trailer Assembly department administration, including the processing of quality check sheets, tire registrations, preparation of VINS and MCOs and other tasks as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments using pallet jacks, hand trucks and similar equipment

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience in a field related to the job responsibilities is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and write fluently in English. Spanish or other language skills a plus but not required. Communicates clearly and effectively
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Basic math and computer data entry skills, with strong attention to detail
• Basic computer experience, including with Microsoft products and basic accounting systems a plus
• Strong safety focus and attention to proper facility safety procedures
• Exceptional time management & organizational skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Passionate about delivering the highest level of customer service standards to internal & external customers
• Ultimate team player, with strong interpersonal skills, eager to jump in & help teammates get the job done
• Loves a challenge. Handles discrepancies or problems calmly and effectively
• Self-starter that looks for things to do and doesn’t like downtime
• Strong work ethic. Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week in a fast-paced environment, plus overtime as needed


• Starting salary for this position is from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour
