Job summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the HR and Recruiting Departments by assisting in the recruiting and hiring processes.

Responsibilities:
• Provide a high level of customer service to dealership management, employees, and candidates
• Works closely with Director, Human Resources and Dealership management to ensure an efficient onboarding process for the candidate
• Utilizes HRIS system and Background/Drug Screen Provider to order Pre-employment screens
• Verifies that all pre-employment requirements (Reference checks, MVR, Background checks) have been completed according to company guidelines
• Prepares Employment Offer Paperwork
• Verifies Negative Drug Screen results and schedules candidates for orientation
• Initiates Hire process in HRIS system utilizing the correct Position
• Communicates with dealership management regarding the status of candidates in progress
• Completes all HRIS system action items related to the Hire of new employees
• Communicates with New Hires regarding the HRIS system onboarding process
• Completes electronic I-9 forms, verifies I-9 documentation, utilizes E-Verify
• Conducts new hire orientation for Charlotte, Concord & Rock Hill markets
• Source, attract and engage passive candidates through multiple platforms
• Lead the sourcing efforts to help support the team of Regional Recruiting Manager(s) staffing needs
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates to help create awareness about career opportunities within Hendrick Automotive Group
• Simultaneously manage multiple searches and support multiple recruiting partners
• Participate in job fairs and onsite career events to support staffing needs across multiple markets
• Assist with placement of recruitment advertising
• Monitor and update employer reputation sites, to help strengthen Hendrick Automotive Group’s employment brand
