Overview:
Method is looking for a Project Manager to join our team and deliver successful software applications and products to our clients. You must possess a unique blend of problem-solving skills, business acumen, technical expertise, and drive to make visions a reality.

A Project Manager’s primary focus is ensuring the solution is viable for our client and its customers while owning the execution and delivery of the development team. We’re looking for motivated self-starters to help push the bounds of what is possible for our clients and our company.

Primary responsibilities:
• Connect with Method’s clients to understand and convey strategic business objectives
• Evaluate end-users needs through interviews and observation/shadowing
• Translate business and user needs into user flows, feature maps, user stories, etc
• Work with designers and engineers to deliver software that meets business requirements and delights users
• Support multiple projects from start to finish managing internal and external stakeholders
• Educate clients on Method’s lean iterative software development life cycle
• Work with distributed teams and/or be at a client’s location depending on the engagement
• Play a dynamic role in the local tech community and help recruit a team of talented professionals like yourself

Role Composition:
The Technical Project Manager role at Method consists of three core functions that may be required depending on the engagement in order to tailor to our client’s needs. The core functions of the role are a combination of client consulting, product management, and project execution. Below is a description of each function:
Client Consultant
• Primary point of contact with C-level clients. Must communicate vision, progress, and present business cases around the value of pursuing your recommendations
Product Manager
• Organizes internal development teams of Quality Analysts, Product Designers, Developers, and other Product Strategists Must be able to break down complex problems into digestible solutions and communicate a vision to the team for execution
Project Execution
• Coordinate efforts to reach common goals for the product team and client. Must create product roadmaps, project plans, coordinate development efforts, communicate status, and track project metrics

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of project management, product management, business analysis, or similar experience.
• Understands and has knowledge in user interface best practices
• Applied experience in delivering software projects with Agile Frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) while using tools like JIRA
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience writing functional requirements/user stories
• Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex business problems
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and negotiate
• Quick in learning and adapting to new projects with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to address competing priorities within a single project with a positive, can-do attitude
• Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex business issues
• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Travel as needed (less than 25%)
