Overview:
We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to be responsible for owning the day-to-day operation of our affiliate and publisher network; and for assisting in the management of affiliate and publisher relationships by providing relevant insight and analysis to power decision making. Caring is a data-driven organization that relies on rigorous evaluation of the performance of partners and the active management of Caring’s relationships. The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the relationships we maintain are profitable over time and taking corrective action when they are found to be unprofitable. The Performance Marketing Manager will also work with other related teams to drive testing and iteration at various points of the funnel; said differently, they will be responsible for owning the overall performance of the channel.
As a Performance Marketing Manager at Caring, you will need to show:
• Willingness to take on and lead difficult and at-times contentious conversations
• Ability to conduct profitability & break-even Analysis to drive pricing conversations
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong skills with Microsoft Excel (Other analytics tools like Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics)
• Work with internal operations, technology, and digital teams to drive results and optimize conversion rates
• Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and relationships concurrently
• Intensity and drive to push on the team forward and move the needle on important projects
• Maniacal attention to detail
Our Ideal Performance Marketing Manager will have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years’ experience operating as an analyst driving and supporting strategic decision-making for an organization or team
• Some experience in Affiliate marketing preferred or relationship management preferred, but not required
• Experience with data visualization tool like Looker or Tableau preferred, but not required
• Financial modeling/forecasting skills and experience a plus. Any experience in valuing companies for acquisition is great.
• Experience with MySQL or other query language, GTM or other pixel/tag manager is a plus
• Strong understanding of the entire Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs Suite
