If you like the show “American Ninja Warrior” or have played a game of The Floor is Lava, Ninja Nation is your new spot.
The objective is simple: complete the obstacles without letting your feet touch the ground.
Why it matters: Ninja Nation provides a unique experience to the Charlotte area in that it’s a competition-level facility. Franchisee owner and former Hollywood stuntman Kevin Cassidy says the venue is also unique because it “combines sport with entertainment.”
What to expect: The 11,500-square-foot arena has various courses complete with bars, boxes and platforms that will frequently be re-arranged by the staff to keep guests on their toes. You can race against friends on two-lane courses or on the warped wall.
How it works: Ninja Nation will offer open gym sessions, classes and parties. Open gym is perfect if you want to walk in and enjoy the obstacle courses. Or go for a class if you’re looking to build your strength and agility and advance levels.
- Open gym day pass: $17 for a 1-hour pass, $25 for a 2-hour pass and $30 for an all-day pass.
- Classes: $30 for a single class, $110 for 4 classes, $200 for 8 classes and $285 for 12 classes.
- Unlimited Open Gym Membership: $110/month.
- Unlimited Access Membership: $185/month.
Grand opening: To celebrate their grand opening on May 22, Ninja Nation Huntersville will be offering special pricing on birthday parties, class packs, open gym punch passes and memberships. 1-hour open gym tickets will go for $10 instead of the usual $17, plus there will be a Ninja Showcase from 3-4pm with a special guest appearance by American Ninja Warrior competitor, Geoff Britten.
Location: Ninja Nation is located at 14120 Statesville Rd in Huntersville.
