Catering Sales Manager

Overview:
A catering sales manager at Reid’s Fine Foods is responsible for developing existing business and soliciting new business through catering leads and catering sales marketing. This position will primarily focus on event catering. This will involve working with customers from initial contact to the end of the event. Other important duties include booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. Maintaining current customer relations, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, help in staffing catering events will all be important aspects to this position.

Responsibilities:
• Schedule events with clients
• Develop a budget for each event
• Schedule staff for the event
• Plan a menu with client and Reid’s culinary staff
• Interview and hire new employees
• Oversee daily event catering operations

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree
• Hospitality, guest service, and restaurant management experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Professional catering experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
