We are Spotlight Branding, a content marketing company helping lawyers grow their practice through content that positions them as the expert and keeps them top-of-mind with their network. Our services include website design, blogging, social media management, email newsletters, podcasting, and more, which lets us help lawyers build a strong online brand for their firm. Rather than focusing on creating leads from Google, we are more interested in helping them increase referrals, attract better clients, and achieve a higher ROI from all of their marketing efforts through the creation and ongoing management of what we refer to as a “Content Loop.”
That’s where you come in. We are looking for an account manager that will establish and nurture relationships with our clients, execute their recurring services, and keep them happy.
This job requires a person who possesses excellent organizational skills and the discipline to effectively prioritize and stay on top of things. We need someone who enjoys talking to people (particularly lawyers) and has the confidence to own their role. If you feel like the things below describe you, then we’d like to learn more about you!
• Marketing knowledge & experience
(You don’t need to be a marketing expert in your career just yet, but you should at least bring an above-average level of knowledge or experience in this area.)
• Customer service unicorn
(You need to have a charming personality with savvy communication skills, and the ability to notice and resolve situations for clientele whose entire profession is found on winning arguments.)
• Attention to instructions & details
(Clients want the work they pay for to be accurate and efficient. We need someone who has an eye for detail and can deliver high-quality work for their clients using our process.)
• An eye for design & presentation
(We’re not looking for a graphic designer, but someone who recognizes high quality design and can provide design feedback to designers and present design strategy to clients.)
• Strong critical thinker & planner
(Part of your role will be planning strategically to manage clients, help them plan a content marketing strategy, and an on-going plan of action.)
• Highly organized & ability to prioritize
(Let’s be honest, everyone likes to say they are organized. But what we are really looking for is an organizational virtuoso and values productivity, so if you don’t love checking off tasks and following processes to the “t”, this job is not for you.)

This job is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging marketing to help small businesses succeed, loves talking to clients, and puts the founders of Netflix’s The Home Edit to shame with their organizational skills. Your primary day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining a great rapport with clients via phone and email, effectively responding to client needs and requests, overseeing client service strategy, new client project management and efficiently managing the recurring publishing and/or delivery of all your clients’ services.
Pay, hours, etc:
This position has a starting salary of $40,000. Our posted hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM, though we offer a flex hours system for our employees which provides flexibility in your daily arrival and departure times. We also provide Healthcare options, up to 10-days of paid vacation, as well as flexible personal days as needed.
