We’re doing a new thing. At the end of each month, we’ll share a roundup of the latest retail opening announcements around the Charlotte area.
We’ll group them by neighborhood, and we’ll focus on non-food/beverage retailers (clothing boutiques, furniture shops, sporting goods stores, that kind of thing). Have one to share? Reach out to Katie at: [email protected]
Dilworth
House of Nomad, the interior design studio, opened a new boutique in Dilworth a few weeks ago. You can find furniture, pillows and throws, decor, rugs and other home goods. Its exact address is 1405 East Blvd.
SouthPark mall
Free People will open in a space next to The North Face near the mall’s main entrance, CBJ reported. The popular women’s clothing retailer, which also has a store at Atherton Mill, will open in late May.
BOSS is opening next to Peloton. This’ll be the suit and apparel store’s first location in the Charlotte market, per CBJ.
Vince, which sells upscale women’s and men’s apparel and accessories, will open in May across from Tommy Bahama, CBJ also reported.
Golden Goose is opening its first North Carolina store in June, per CBJ. The Italian shoe company will be in a space next to Neiman Marcus.

Infinity’s End, a locally owned smoke shop that also sells gifts and other home goods, recently opened at 1500-B W. Morehead St., near Town Brewing.

Tecovas, a Texas retailer that sells cowboy boots and other leather goods, is now open at Atherton Mill next to Madewell. The store has a bar that serves Topo Chico, local beer and bourbon while you shop.
