Overview:
We are currently searching for a Clinical Assistant at our OrthoCarolina Ballantyne office location. *The major scope of this position is the removal and application of numerous and various types of casts, DME, and splints.*

The Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care which includes performing routine office procedures and testing, participating in patient teaching, communicating effectively with others, and assisting the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care.

New Grad or <2 yrs experience or someone who does not have Ortho experience and does not meet level 2 minimal requirements

Responsibilities:
• Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems
• Completing phone triage
• Casting and bracing
• Performing routine office procedures
• Providing patient education

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing or a college degree in a related field
• Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, current nursing license, ATC Board certification
• New graduates are welcome
• 2 -3 years of clinical assistant experience preferred
