The role you will play

  • Develop and post content and monitor market activity for social media websites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn as well as track and report social media statistics
  • Write, post, and maintain content for company intranet page via SharePoint and WQ video kiosks
  • Maintain and update website as needed
  • Coordinate photography and videography projects
  • Assist in writing and developing marketing materials as needed
  • Investigate and manage editorial opportunities, write editorial stories and content, and coordinate interviews with company spokespeople
  • Assist in coordination of media training and media events
  • Collaborate and assist in the development and execution of national and regional trade shows
  • Partner with marketing and events team to integrate brand and product messaging across signage assets
  • Act as brand steward, demonstrating a firm understanding of overall brand strategy, including target customer, product positioning, and brand objectives
  • Maintain research on competitors and industry trends by monitoring industry publications and websites, as well as competitor’s websites and social media
  • Work with vendors to coordinate printing projects and managing literature budget
  • Submit invoices for payment and track marketing spend
  • Maintain annual advertising calendar including insertion schedule to ensure ad materials are submitted as planned

Profile for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years professional work experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Positive and professional attitude who has the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and establish priorities while successfully juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite is helpful (esp. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Interact and communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
