Day & Night Exotic Cereal Bar is opening April 10 in the former Melt-In Your Mouth Cupcake location in Brevard Court.
The build-your-own cereal bar concept started as a food truck in Los Angeles by Karmon DuPrée Jr. Since opening in 2020, the brand has been able to expand into other markets with brick-and-mortar locations in Los Angeles and Indianapolis. Greg Robinson and Danielle Booker co-own the Charlotte franchise.
Why it matters: Day & Night is Charlotte’s first and only cereal bar, bringing some fun to Charlotte’s growing food scene.
What to expect: Guests will be able to choose from classics like Honey Nut Cheerios and Cap N’ Crunch as well as cereal varieties from around the world. The menu features pre-made bowls ($7) like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, made with Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, and Frosted Flakes, or you can opt to build your own bowl.
- Other menu novelties include cereal-infused milkshakes ($8) and bacon flights ($5).
- If you’re non-dairy, they’ve got you covered. Milk options include whole, skim, almond and oat.
Location: 127 Brevard Court.
Timeline: The grand opening is set for Saturday, April 10 from 10am-1pm. From there, hours will be 9am-9pm daily.
