Overview:
We’re looking for a stellar freelance web developer to partner with our internal design crew.
Responsibilities:
• Setting up dev sites (on your server or a server you manage)
• Launching sites (includes 301 redirects, 404 checks, and checking securely pulled assets)
• Research for potential plugins to serve a certain functionality
• Custom coding certain sections of sites as needed
• Providing support if something happens within a WordPress website or how to do x or z etc.
Qualifications:
• CMS Proficiency (WordPress)
• Experience customizing plugins, themes, and page builders beyond their off-the-shelf functionality
• Building fully custom websites within WordPress
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, My SQL, etc.
• API integration
• Site migration
• On-page techincal SEO optimization
