Speedway Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Well folks, these are the final days of Speedway Christmas — well, the Christmas lights that is. Ice skating is still open through February 17, so lace-up your skates and take to the ice. 4-11 p.m. Varies. Details.

Handmade Pasta Workshop with SkillPop, online: This class will show you how to make a versatile and vegan-friendly pasta dough and the many ways it can be shaped.  5:30-7 p.m. $24. Details.

Cookie Decorating Level 1.5 at Sweet Spot Studio: Learn how to add dimension to your cookie designs. It’s recommended that students attend the Pre-Cookie Decorating Class if uncomfortable with techniques like piping and flooding. 6:30 p.m. $55. Details.

Floral Arranging Basics with SkillPop, online: Whether you’re working with a basic grocery store bouquet, greenery and blooms from your yard, or a combination of both, this online class will teach you how to create your own beautiful floral arrangements. Floral designer Kiara Hancock of K.Hancock Events will demonstrate how to build an arrangement and the techniques needed to turn flowers from anywhere into a beautiful showpiece. 7-8:30 p.m. $24. Love Thy Neighbor: A Tribute To Benefit Roof Above, online: The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center hosts a virtual performance to raise money for Roof Above, and bring awareness to the pervasive housing crisis. There will be more than 40 artists performing various covers. 8 p.m. Free. Details.
