Big Wednesday with sold-out CHVRCHES and Yonder Mountain String Band both in town. A handful of CHVRCHES tickets are available on StubHub if you’d like to get yourself in the door. Halloween weekend always brings out great music, so if you don’t have any plans, check something out, and wear a costume. Milestone has lined up a night of local bands playing as famous bands. Should be fun.
Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless listed otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.
Agenda Picks
- 10/28: Yonder Mountain String Band, Henhouse Prowlers; Visulite Theatre, 8 p.m., $25-$30. Yonder has changed a bit since the departure of mandolin player Jeff Austin and the addition of fiddle player Allie Kral, but the bluegrass act keeps bringing jammin’ progressive bluegrass to the people. Henhouse Prowlers, who are great, kick things off with their more traditional bluegrass.
- 10/30: Bronze Radio Return, The Roosevelts; Visulite Theatre, 9 p.m., $12-$15. Bronze Radio Return brings soulful harmonies and a wide range of guitar sounds to Charlotte after inclement weather forced their Sunday set at USNWC’s Tuck Fest to get canceled last April.
